This typical 1956 bi level home had a huge overhaul to bring it to today’s standards. Walls were removed to create an open living concept which improved how natural light played in all the zones. Some original elements were salvaged such as the stone on both fireplaces which embrace the age of the home. The design concept was to give a nod to the dynamic elements of Midcentury Modern design. We played with colour and texture to give a backdrop to the homeowner’s collection of Midcentury Modern décor.
